Angel Cespedes is a former professional baseball player with a deep passion for developing athletes both on and off the field. As a dedicated student-athlete, Angel competed at a high level while completing his formal education at Barry University, Howard College, and Rowan College of South Jersey.

With first-hand experience in the demands of elite competition, Angel brings a unique blend of professional playing knowledge, academic discipline, and leadership skills to his coaching. His approach emphasizes proper mechanics, mental toughness, and a strong work ethic, helping athletes reach their full potential

and prepare for the next level of their careers.

Whether working with aspiring youth players or advanced athletes, Angel is committed to building confident, well-rounded ballplayers who excel in both performance and character.

With four years of professional playing experience in the Cincinnati Reds organization, he possesses a deep knowledge and passion for the game.
Dedicated to technique, and teamwork and discipline, he is committed to guiding each player to reach and enhance to their fullest potential on the field.

Ricky Gonzalez

Coach Ricky brings a wealth of experience and passion for developing young athletes at the competitive level. With over 16 years of playing experience, he is committed to providing a fun and competitive environment where players not only improve their baseball skills but also develop important life skills like teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Having played collegiate baseball at Rutgers University-Newark, Coach Ricky understands what it takes to succeed both on and off the field. He believes in teaching players the fundamentals of the game while fostering a love for the sport that will last a lifetime.

At Disla Dukes, Coach Ricky focuses on building a strong foundation of skills — from hitting mechanics to fielding, base running, and pitching. Emphasizing the importance of hard work, dedication, and having a growth mindset, he ensures that each player not only improves their athletic abilities but also learns to be a positive contributor to the team.
